Panney is an award-winning Certified Hypnotherapist-Motivational Speaker-Writer and spiritually centered life-coach specializing in personal and professional development and helping people to see the way in their lives to solving their problems, overcoming obstacles and reaching their dreams. She has received numerous awards for her service in making a difference in the community including the National Association of Asian MBA’s/ASCEND’s Top 40 Global Emerging Leaders Award, The Los Angeles Business Journal’s Asian Business Awards, the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards, and the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business from the Asian American Business Development Center. Continuing the legacy of service passed down from her ancestors, her grandfather Taiwan Senator Liu Chen, and General Tso Tsung-Tang, a statement in the Qing dynasty, and immortalized in pop culture for the dish, General Tso's chicken, Panney has been an activist in the arts and entertainment industry for over 20 years, passionate about promoting women, diversity, and developing leaders especially in the Asian American diaspora, and serves as a senior advisor or on the board of directors for groups like the National Association of Asian American Professionals, Women in NAAAP recognized in Forbes Women of which she’s the Founding National Director, the National Asian Artist Project, the Alliance for Women in Media, and Kollaboration. She is the CEO of See the Way Consulting, leading workshops, individual sessions, and keynotes specializing in executive leadership, diversity and inclusion, women’s issues, and personal and professional growth and empowerment. Panney is also the host of her popular podcast, See the Way with Panney Wei, where every Monday she delivers a motivational message to inspire her audience and through her special guests who are thought-leaders in their fields, to stay strong, positive, and elevate their minds to a place of possibility as she helps them “see the way” to self-mastery, purpose, and making their ultimate dreams come true.
